Edward Joseph Dale – christened – 18/9/1864 – Carshalton.

1881 – labourer – living 6 Hackbridge Cottages, Beddington – as lodger in household of Henry Platt.

Married June quarter 1888 – Croydon 2a 8a either Sarah draper – or Ada Staples.

1901 – living 34 Cottage of Content Beer Shop, Carshalton - general labourer.

Elizabeth Lydia Dale – reg March quarter 1889 – Epsom 2a 11

 

Arthur Dale – christened – 25/11/1866 – Carshalton.

1881 – living Wrythe, 24 William St, Carshalton – with mother Lydia Dale & brothers Harry, Herbert & Ernest.

1901 – railway platelayer -living Wrythe, 8 William St, Carshalton – with mother Lydia, brother Ernest & niece Lillian Mary Dale.

Married Ellen Hetherington. Lived at 7, Station Road, Carshalton

 

Herbert Dale – christened –7/3/1869 – Carshalton.

 

Ernest David Dale – christened – 10/3/1872 – Carshalton.

1881 – living Wrythe, 24 William St, Carshalton – with mother Lydia Dale & brothers Harry, Arthur & Herbert.

1901 – general labourer – living Wrythe, 8 William St, Carshalton – with Mother & Arthur (as above).

Killed in action WWI – 18/9/1918. Buried Bellicourt British Cemetery, Aisne, France.

R/500 King’s Royal Rifle Corps, 2nd Batallion.
